-- Services: On-Site Practice Consultation --

An on-site consultation is the best way for us to thoroughly evaluate your practice needs.  We can assess your strengths and weaknesses and create an action plan to help facilitate positive change.  We evaluate the health of your practice in the following major areas: client service, human resource management, marketing, standards of care, operational efficiencies and financial management.  Our on-site consultations include the following components:

Preliminary hospital analysis

  • Initial phone consultation with the hospital owner(s) to identify major challenges and management issues for the practice.
  • Review and analyze financial information, staff surveys, marketing tools and hospital documents prior to on-site visit.

On-site visit

  • Evaluate hospital operations and marketing efforts on-site.  Areas of assessment include client service skills, front office procedures, exam room interactions, operational efficiencies, roles and responsibilities of healthcare team members, medical records review, check-out procedures, standards of care, fee schedule, hospital image and external marketing tools.  Interview key healthcare team members.

  • Discuss key management and leadership issues with practice owner(s) and hospital manager.

  • Facilitate strategic planning session with entire healthcare team.  Discuss vision, mission, core value and goals for the practice.  Coach practice owners and healthcare team members to understand and embrace need for change and how their role is vital to the overall success of the practice.

  • Provide training tailored to meet the specific needs of the hospital.  Develop an action plan based on the vision and goals of the practice.  The entire healthcare team will be involved in the implementation planning process.

Follow-up

  • Follow-up Report

    • A written report summarizing our findings and recommendations.
    • A detailed action plan will be provided to your hospital.    
  • Phone Support

    • We coach hospital owners and the management team on a weekly basis to be accountable for action plan items and implementation of goals.
